Belucci 1983-2006

Belucci is sired by Bolero, who had a profound impact on the Hanoverian breed before he died at the early age of 12 years. Bolero sired 51 approved sons and numerous State Premium Mares as well as champion riding horses and the highest price horses at the auctions. Bolero continually produced horses with good shoulders, withers, modern toplines and elastic action.

Belucci’s dam sire Grande was one of the top g-line sires in the 70’s and 80’s. Grande produced over 40 approved sons and many of the most successful competition horses in Europe in both dressage and jumping. Belucci was licensed in Adelheidsdorf. He was then sold to Denmark, where he was a successful FEI level Grand Prix dressage horse. In 1994, Belucci was imported to the United States.

Belucci is fully licensed and approved by the following registries:

  • Verband Hannoverscher Warmblutzuchter e.V.
  • American Hanoverian Society
  • Oldenburg Verband
  • International Sporthorse Registry
  • Danish Warmblood Society
  • Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association
  • International Arabian Hose Association—Lifetime Breeding Permit
